The end of one year and the beginning of the next is
always a time for introspection. A time to reflect upon
and cherish the positive achievements of the year gone
by as well as a time to plan and resolve to do better
in the coming year.
One thing that would be haunting our minds this year-end
would be the devastation wrought by the killer wave
- Tsunami all over Asia. While in the last few days
mankind has been trampled upon and humbled by the
wrath of nature, this adversity has brought together
people of different parties, classes, communities
and countries in the efforts to extend a helping hand
to our suffering brethren. Let me also take this opportunity
to call upon each of you reading this message to contribute
your mite in whichever way possible to the relief
efforts.
The Thrissur District Police had made considerable
progress in the year 2004, in its objective of providing
a people friendly police. In the coming year 2005,
we shall continue to open our arms to the public and
would like to give you a Friendly, Responsive, Effective,
Smart and Honest (FRESH) Police Force, which would
be always at your service.
