Dear Visitor,

I am glad to inform all of you that the Fourth N.I. David Memorial Football Tournament being held at the Thrissur Corporation Stadium is attracting a lot of spectator interest. This tournament, which is held in memory of a highly regarded police officer of yester-year, who died in harness in 1995 is our contribution to the sports lovers of the state, and we hope that the response to this event continues to be overwhelming in the coming days as well. I invite all of you to take this opportunity of participating in the event as a spectator.

After a gap of ten years, we have revived the Police Duty Meet, an official competition among police officers aimed at testing their skills and abilities at various events. The winners of events at this Meet will be sent to Jaipur later this month to take part in the National Meet. I wish the participants all success at the Meet.

The on-line survey being conducted by us is attracting a lot of interest and is revealing several insights into the expectations of the public. I look forward to hearing from each one of you through the survey form (seen in the Home page itself) so that we can make this website more responsive and meaningful. Please do respond.

Regards and best wishes...

Balram Kumar Upadyay IPS.
